Mold removal and rummaging solution

introduction

In order to prevent moldy products from leaving the warehouse and flowing into the customer process, finished products need to be randomly inspected every week. Once you find moisture, musty smell, or even mildew. It must be isolated and processed quickly to avoid causing more product contamination. If it is only damp, dry it or dry it at low temperature and replace it with moisture-proof products.

Common fault

In warehouses during humid seasons, goods placed closely together often lead to cramped space and poor ventilation. Moisture and water vapor are difficult to dissipate, and over time, small water droplets are formed. The return of moisture in the warehouse first appears on the warehouse floor, which not only directly wets the goods and affects the quality, but also threatens the safety of vehicles and people walking.

Solution

Slightly moldy:

If the product has a musty smell or a small amount of local mildew, generally no more than 10% is considered mild and can be isolated and processed.

1A. Use a coarse cloth, towel, sponge or brush to clean the mildew spots on the surface of the product. Use a brush to clean the mildew spots on the suede surface. Pay special attention to cleaning mold spots in more hidden locations such as gaps, corners, and folds of the product;

1B. Then use an air gun to blow away the remaining mold dust on the product, especially the suede, gaps and other parts;

1C. Spray AEM5700-F+ special antifungal agent evenly until the surface of the product is wet, and then dry it or dry it at low temperature;

① Before operation, you need to wear a mask and long rubber gloves (after spraying for a period of time, rinse the outer surface of the gloves with water);

②Pour AEM5700-F+ into the spray gun or watering can, and adjust the sprayed liquid to an atomized state;

③Spray AEM5700-F+ towards the position of the exhaust fan or prepare a large electric fan behind the operator and spray towards the window;

④ Once the agent comes into contact with the skin, rinse it immediately with plenty of water. If you have allergies, you can use Dafuwang ointment.

1D. Replace with new anti-mildew and moisture-proof products. If the outer packaging is moldy, please replace the outer packaging, or spray the outer packaging with antifungal agent.

Severe mold:

For products that are severely mold-proof or discolored, more stringent measures are required, and isolation is required first. Observe the severity, conduct a small trial treatment, and evaluate whether it can be dealt with. If the product is damaged or severely discolored or deteriorated, it cannot be processed.

2A. If it can be treated, first spray a large area with antifungal agent to kill the mold in a large area, including the product and its original storage location.

2B. After 3-4 hours, proceed according to situation 2.

Note: If there is discoloration or contamination on the product and stubborn contaminants that are difficult to remove, before spraying the antifungal agent, you can try to use the antifungal agent CM2900 to remove it or consult our technical personnel.
